About Us — MME Underground Services

Our History

MME Underground Services, formerly Mossy’s Mini Excavations, was founded by Kevin and Vivian Moss in 2000 with the belief that Western Australia needed an underground utility specialist to focus on service providers’ smaller, technically challenging project requirements. Within two years, MME was a preferred vendor to Western Power and by 2004, a pre-qualified contractor to the Water Corporation. In 2012, we became a qualified Category 3 Contractor for Rio Tinto Iron Ore and commenced works on the National Broadband Network Project in Geraldton. We are now a well-known specialist contractor and our presence on WA’s key utility projects is ever increasing as we continue to grow as a company.

In July 2017, Mossy's Mini Excavations became MME Underground Services Pty Ltd. MME's new management, along with founding staff members are committed to maintaining and building upon our established reputation.

We have adopted a “Safety First” approach and encourage a proactive safety culture throughout all areas of our business. From pre-planning to project completion, the health and safety of our employees is paramount.

Our employees, clients, subcontractors and the public have a right to expect us to safeguard their health and safety in any environment under our control, be it in the office or out on site.
